Did anyone get to see the northern lights this past October? It was an amazing site and we captured some beautiful pictures. My friends went to Norway to see them and were disappointed. Our pictures were much better. Never imagined that happening.

People were posting pics of the northern lights in my area yesterday, and they say that they will be visible tonight optimally just before midnight if it's clear and you can get away from the city lights. I've had a lot of friends posting pics of them in the past 6 months from this area. You might not have to go as far away as you might think to see them!

I'd love to travel to the east coast of Canada, never been there.

Do a cross country driving trip out west with the kids like my parents did with me and my brothers.

Still want to go to Europe.

I'm really hoping we can get up into eastern Canada this summer. We now live in New England where doing a driving trip up into New Brunswick and Nova Scotia would be easier. We have a friend who has a second home on Newfoundland and he raves about it, but I think doing NB and NS and Newfoundland would be too much to squeeze into one trip.
